WPWebHost, my current web host, has just introduced a new web hosting plan for WordPress-powered blogs. It’s a feature-packed all-in-one Saver Plan.
Here’s what you get with the Saver Plan:
- Besides a basic Freedom (50GB space, 500GB bandwidth) or Buddy Hosting Plan (100GB space, 1000GB bandwidth)
- a free lifetime domain name – Free renewal for life time as long as your WP Saver Plan remains active.
- 1 year premium WordPress themes membership from Elegant Themes (worth $39.00)
- 25GB monthly CDN (Content Delivery Network).
The entire package worth more than $500, but WPWebHost is selling it as low as $130/year only.
To sum everything up, here’s a neat graphic:
In case you’re wondering what a CDN is? CDN or Content Delivery Network is a technology that helps your website load faster.
In nutshell, it is a system of servers containing copies of data, placed at various points in a network so as to maximize bandwidth for access to the data from clients throughout the network. A client accesses a copy of the data near to the client, as opposed to all clients accessing the same central server, so as to avoid bottleneck near that server.
With CDN in place, your WP blog would be able to handle traffic spikes more easily and it lessens the strains on your own web server.
WPWebHost also offers this Saver Plan for their Buddy Plan which is optimized for WordPress MU installations.
So if you’re looking for a great and affordable hosting for your WordPress blog with a great set of features, the Saver Plan from WPWebHost is a good choice.
