Naruto Chapter 392: Itachi defeats Orochimaru for good!

It’s been a long while since I last posted a review about the Naruto Manga series which has taken us fans into a wild roller-coaster ride that has had Itachi and Sasuke fans the world over raving and raging over who’s going to be one of the last Uchihas alive.

In the latest installment, Chapter 392: Susano’O, Itachi demonstrates his awesome powers, something inherent in his previous techniques, Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, their brother, Susano’O. Whom, in Shinto belief is the god of the sea and storms.

He was ‘summoned’ or this technique was used by Itachi after Sasuke survived both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu draining both of them of their chakras in the process. On the other hand, Sasuke resorted to relying on the powers of the cursed seal. In a surprise of all surprises, this became the opportunity for one of the series’ longest-running villains to re spawn, Orochimaru himself!

Using his Hydra technique, Orochimaru attacked Itachi but it was all in vain. Susano’O beheaded all but one of the eight giant snakes and with that, Orochimaru revealed himself to ‘take care of some unfinished business’ himself. It was the definitely the end of the line for Orochimaru, for Itachi quickly disposed of him using the Sword of Totsuka as wielded by Susano’O. According to the manga, it is the one sword Orochimaru had been searching for all his life, for it has the powerful ability to seal anything or anyone away in a blissful-like genjutsu forever.

Another Sannin passes on

Talk about poetic justice and things coming full circle; Orochimaru being sealed away by the very sword he was searching for and by the one who had it all along Itachi, whom he first sought out in the early stages of the whole series. Orochimaru’s unrelenting and worldly ambitions has become his undoing and as much like Jiraiya, this Sannin’s end has been of epic and legendary scale.

On a good side though, I believe it has also cured Sasuke of the cursed seal as shown in the manga. But with no more tricks up his sleeve, is this definitely the end for Uchiha Sasuke?

Naruto Manga 349: That place

It’s been a long while since I last blogged about Naruto, today the latest chapter in the manga version of this hit series has just been released as a mid-quality translation by Dark Element.

This chapter continues on where the Chapter 348 left off. Sasuke continues to form a team of little-known shinobis after defeating and taking over from Orochimaru. First was Suigetsu who inherited Zabuza’s sword, then it was the femme fatale Karin who made a move on Sauske when they came for her.

Finally, as with every Naruto manga or episode, all the excitement and questions raised in the previous chapters would be answered in its mini-climatic chapter, which is Chapter 349 for this segment. Sasuke, Suigetsu and Karin has finally come face to face the third member of their group, the feared Juugo. From the very start of this segment, Juugo’s name has been like a taboo in Sasuke’s camp. Every time his name is mentioned, Juugo and Karin show lots of hesitation even fear.

So who is this Juugo? What’s so special about him? More so, what’s to be afraid of him?

OMFG! So that’s where Orochimaru’s ‘cursed seal’ technique came from. It wasn’t a blood-line limit or special technique he learned from his teachers, like the great Sandaime Hokage. He got it from his sick and twisted experiments. Quite nifty of him, if the Naruto universe were ever to give out an award for the best mad scientist, it would Orochimaru.

Why though, has Sasuke sought out Juugon? I know Naruto fanatics have already guessed the answer to this question, if you haven’t give this chapter a download here and Karin would help you find out.

Naruto Chapter 346: Sasuke defeats Orochimaru!

With Chapter 345 of the Naruto Manga series ending in a cliffhanger, this latest Chapter 346 entitled “The New Jutsu’s Secret” heralds the end of one of the legendary Sannins, Orochimaru, at the hands of Uchiha Sasuke.

This clipping from the manga tells it all:

Some of my friends who are also Naruto fanatics had the guts to say that Orochimaru would succeed in taking over Sasuke’s body. I simply laughed and retorted; “May kontra-bida ba namang nanalo?! hahaha” (Has a an antagonist or bad guy ever won in a story?!)

Sasuke proves this point in the following clippings from Chapter 346.

Got that right Kabuto!

Hell yeah!

The Uchiha blood prevails over Orochimaru’s powers, just like what happened before when Itachi threw him out of Akatsuki using the incredible powers of the Sharingan.

Naruto Manga Chapter 345 ends in suspense!

Waaa!!! The suspense that the creators of both the Naruto Manga and Anime series is killing me!

First, there was no new Naruto Anime episode has come out this week, which means we have to wait for March 15 before we get to see Naruto and the rest of the shinobis in action again in Episode 5. The next episode however would be a great one because it will be a double-treat, episodes 6 and 7 would come out as a one-hour special!

Second, which really heats up the suspense is the latest chapter in its manga version, entitled ‘Ritual‘ which showcases the climax of the long-awaited battle between Uchiha Sasuke and Orochimaru for Sasuke’s body carrying the legendary Sharingan.
