Many Naruto fans, particularly of the great Ero-senin Jiraiya, must be in tears right now. As the latest chapter in the Naruto Manga series heralds the end of one of the series’s most famous and beloved character. As Naruto’s father said:

You’re a man with true skill…an example we should all follow.

I can’t think of a finer shinobi than you.

After an epic, bloody and historical battle, Pain has succeeded in defeating his former sensei proving that the leader of the Akatsuki is force to be really reckoned with. However, Jiraiya’s cause was not lost, and his demise not ending up in vain. As before the last breath of life escapes his body, he succeeds in his mission: discovering the true identity of “Pain.”

True to his role in the series, the toad hermit has once more delivered on his words and liven up to his job, gathering the most crucial and hard-to-get data so that the shinobis in Konoha could perform their duties well. I wonder though, how Tsunade, Kakashi and more importantly, Naruto would take the tragic news that his teacher has joined the other great shinobis of Konoha.

Another damn good reason why Naruto and the rest of his team will set out and eliminate Akatsuki and bring forth peace to their world once and for all. But at what price?

Who would be next team mate, fellow shinobi or close friend Naruto would lose before it all comes to an end?

The age of the Sannins have drawn to their final days, how and when it will do so is close at hand as nearly the series itself steps closer to its final conclusion. The next chapters would be as nearly exciting as this one, as the data gathered by Jiraiya, as well as the news of his passing will reach Tsunade, while we return to what seems the final showdown between the Uchiha brothers Sasuke and Itachi.

For now though, I guess a moment’s silence would be in order to pay homage to the legendary and gallant Sannin; Jiraiya.

Hello everybody out there! It is very nice to meet you all! As the title says this is my debut post here, so I would like to start off with a little bit about myself. First of all, my name is Bryan, although I hate that name, and prefer to be called Shika (Not because of Shikamaru, but because of my screen name almost everywhere being Shikahake7) and absolutely love Anime, Naruto in specific. There isn’t really much more to tell, or much more to know, so I’ll get right to the part that I’m sure everybody reading this actually cares about, the latest chapter of the Naruto manga!

So I’m sure everybody who read chapter 365 remembers that Itachi came out from behind a tree to confront Naruto, well in this chapter we get to see the two of them face off, although Naruto consequently gets beat easily, and very fast. He uses a variation on the crow genjutsu (Utaka, or Emphereal I believe the name was) he used on Naruto when using Pein’s (The old Akatsuki Leader whom was revealed to be just in the position of leader, but not the actual one giving the orders) perfect clone technique. Itachi claimed to only be there to speak with Naruto, though Naruto would not allow him to, and Itachi left to confront Sasuke, saying that he “I have an important matter to deal with.” A big let down… I was hoping for something more than a couple panels of useless fighting, but I don’t write it, I only read it…

During this Jiraiya and Tsunade were having their own chat, although with more talking than fighting. Jiraiya has found out that Pein is in Amegakure (Hidden Rain), and that Amegakure has been in a terrible civil war for some time, Pein leading one of the two sides (My guess is Pein is part of the “Republic” side rather than the “Empire” side). This is all he found out though, and he said that he will be scouting around Amegakure for more information before Konoha should do anything big.

The chapter ends with Itachi finally confronting Sasuke.

So that was all the information I found important, time for the breakdown.

What it means for the story: Well, there isn’t much we can pick out of this, mostly just that Itachi is about to fight Sasuke, and Amegakure will finally get some part in the storyline other than getting the crap kicked out of them. What I believe we can assume, though, is that Itachi has some qualms about what he did so long ago, that he is regretting his life style decisions. We can also assume that the end is near, as the Sasuke VS Itachi thing has always been a major driving force for the storyline.

Theory time: As many of you know, there are many theories for what will happen in Naruto out there, some involving Tobi, some involving Pein, and some involving Uchiha Madara. Well there are very few of these that are holding up to Kishimoto’s constant barage of plot twists. One of the few that has is the “The Dark History of Uchiha: The Bloodline of Tengu” theory. Basically it says that the original Uchiha, Uchiha Madara, was the son of a Hyuuga woman and a demon in the shape of a human, a demon called a Tengu, half man half crow. This is backed up by many points, the first and foremost that the Uchiha clan was created from the Hyuuga clan (Kakashi said that himself during the chuunin exams arc, or at least that it was believed to be that way), but I won’t get into that here, that would take a couple pages of posts ^^;;. Anyway, the point is that this chapter only proved a little bit more of the Tengu theory (Please keep in mind that the Tengu theory hasn’t been changed, at least to my knowledge, since it was first made a while ago) because Itachi used the crows in a genjutsu once more, but once again, I don’t wish to get into it here, that would take a long time.

It’s been a long while since I last wrote something about the awesome Naruto Manga series. The latest release, Chapter 364 entitled “The Target” answers a lot of the questions involving Akatsuki and the Uchiha clan.

The famed leader of the Akatsuki was once mistaken to be either the reincarnation of the Fourth Hokage who possessed the Sharingan. This however were proven wrong by the makers of Naruto and was admitted to be the result of a mishap in the clean-up of the manga scans last year.

Still, theories and assumptions about the identity of the Akatskui leader remained a hotly debated issue. As I’ve said nearly all questions were answered in Chapter 364. The leader of the Akatsuki is not the Fourth Hokage, however he does indeed possess the legendary Sharigan. What’s even more shocking and legendary is the the leader is none other than Madara Uchiha.

Who is Madara Uchiha? Well, no one really knows but looking back into the previous chapters especially the opening sequence of Naruto Shippuuden Anime series, the Kyuubi or the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox seems to know a lot about Uchiha Madara and the rest of the Uchiha clan.

Remember what the Kyuubi said to Sasuke when they met each other inside Naruto during a preview sequence in the very first episode of the Shippuuden series?

Kyuubi: I see, an Uchiha is it? Your growth is impressive. You can even see me inside Naruto. Such would be the power of your Sharingan, that cursed clan’s power.

Sasuke: Seems this isn’t the first time you’ve seen the Sharingan. If so, then you are [the] Kyuubi.

Kyuubi: Eyes with such power and chakra more sinister than my own… Just as Uchiha Madara was.

[Sasuke grabs the Kyuubi and dispereses it.]

Sasuke: And you expect me to know that person?

You heard it from the Kyuubi itself. The Uchiha clan and their Sharingan could become more powerful than even the great demon spirits. Perhaps this is the reason why as Chapter 364 reveals, an Uchiha, Uchiha Madara is the leader of the Akatsuki. He’s among the very few in the Naruto world who can control or influence the great demon spirits, the Kyuubi amongst them.

In this chapter, it’s also been revealed that there are more than 9 Akatsuki as originally impressed by the early chapters of the manga series. Now that Deidara and Tobi (?) are dead two new Akatsuki members make full appearances. A rose-wearing girl and Pain who looks a lot like the Fourth Hokage if you ask me.

This is the reason why that assumption came up in the first place. In the shadows, Pain and the Fourth Hokage resembled each other in silhouette. The appearance of Pain’s iris also fooled us into thinking that he too has the Sharingan. Now, things are more clear.

On the other hand, a certain part of the assumptions about the Akatsuki leader is true. That he indeed has the Sharingan, so therefore he is an Uchiha, not just any ordinary Uchiha, but the Uchiha Madara. Though I’m a bit confused because Uchiha Madara wears the same one-eyed swirled face mask as Tobi wears. We didn’t really see Tobi in action and it was shown he was killed along with Deidara in the latter’s final explosion jutsu. Hmm….possibilities are still open.

Now there are three Uchihas in the Naruto world; Uchiha Sasuke, his older brother Uchiha Itachi and their long not-so-lost relative; Uchiha Madara.

The manga series continues to be more and more exciting with each chapter. In the following chapters we will see more action, this time from Naruto’s side as they are now the targets of Pain and his female Akatsuki partner. I just can’t wait!
