HP Chromebook 14 – runs on Intel Haswell, 100GB Google Drive

With the holiday shopping season about go in full gear, device makers are gearing up to cash in with their latest offerings. HP is not one to be left behind as they are set to release the HP Chromebook 14 this coming Christmas.

HP Chromebook 14 is HP’s latest foray into the ultrabook segment.

The Chromebook 14 is one of the many new models to join the Chromebook family – a series of ultra-light notebook PCs that runs on Google Chrome OS. Check out the preliminary spec sheet below:

Weight: 1.847kg (4.07 pounds)
Display: 14-inch WLED BrightView screen (1366 by 768-pixel resolution)
Connectivity: 2 USB 3.0 ports (1 USB 2.0), a memory card slot and optional WWAN connectivity
Internal storage: 16 or 32GB SSD
Comes with 100GB of online storage via Google Drive (for the 1st year)

The Chromebook 14 starts at $299 USD and will be available just before Christmas. It also comes in a variety of bright colors giving it a more stylish look and feel.
