by jhay on July 24, 2008

First of all, congratulations to the 27,765 examinees who passed the 2008 nursing board exam, each and every one of you must be extremely proud.

Among this proud 27, 765 passers is my younger sister Julie Ann. At last, your four years of hard work, dedication and sacrifice has come to fruition. Asteeg ka!

What I’m also proud of is that my school, De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, the Health Sciences Institute in particular, is among the top universities to have more than 100 Nursing graduates take the exam and pass. Animo La Salle indeed!

The other top schools are:

Trinity University Of Asia and University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center

University of Sto. Tomas, St. Louis University, Cebu Normal University, Chinese General Hospital College of Nursing, West Visayas State University – La Paz, St. Paul University – Dumaguete

Of course, the biggest honor and applause must be accorded to this year’s top notch er, Aira Therese Salamanca Javier of the University of Santo Tomas.

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.

I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.

God will appreciate it.
