My MX records are acting up

Is it just me or have the gods of the blogosphere cursed me?! I already sent an email to Ploghost.com’s support team and the waiting game starts again. I just hope this gets resolved as soon as possible as I am now a living testament to how dreadful, costly and frustrating it could be once your email gets screwed up. You could still get in touch with me via my old Gmail address at: jhaykage (at) gmail (dot) com.

That’s not all folks…

As if the screwed up email wasn’t enough, I also discovered that the nifty AJAX-powered live search for my blog is also acting up.

More SPAM via G-live?

And here is where my concern grows bigger. Already, we are suffering from those irritating SPAM or unsolicited SMS messages (commercial or otherwise, as long as it is unsolicited or unwanted, it is spam) in our mobile phones today. We are next to powerless, without enough credits(extra load) to tell the network to stop sending us those friggin’ spam SMS messages and now comes this automatic though non-intrusive yet out of our control message/content delivery system? What gives?!

Inadvertently tagged: 6 random things about me

Oh well, here I go anyways;

1. I’ve been wearing the same set of eyeglass lenses for the past 10 years and I’ve never have them changed ever since except for the frames which I often break.

2. I’ve read two Harry Potter books; The Prisoner of Azkaban, and The Goblet of Fire but I’ve never really seen their film versions in whole. I rented the CDs and even watched them on HBO but I never got to finish them. I really don’t know why.

3. I eat cereals (Honey Stars or Trix) in the afternoon as snacks, instead of having them for breakfast.

Help Pyro meet Batista

For my first act, I’d like to call on to anyone, with the biggest of all hearts, the kindests of souls and with an extensive connection to help out Joseph Pyro to meet his idol, our very own (half of him) WWE Smackdown superstar, Dave Batista, in person, when the WWE caravan visits Manila again this coming October.

You’ve probably heard of this blog-powered and email driven plea of help for Pyro to meet his idol for some time now. For the unfamiliar, Joseph Pyro is a three-year-old kid who suffers from cancer and has gone through so much pain and suffering in his three years of life so far, than compared to what we have in our lives today. In a nutshell, the following would answer the question: “Who is Joseph Pyro?”

How to Tame the Caps Lock key

Back in August, I saw this news item about a ceo advocating and launching a campaign to remove the Caps Lock key from the keyboard.

I symphatize and agree with the reasons he has espoused as to why the Caps Lock key could be a hazard in our productivity and everyday PC usage, reomving it from our keyboards altogether is somehow overreacting and neanderthal a solution.

Would you like to keep a finger constantly pressed down on the shift key while you type lines of text that need to be set in an all caps format?

The Caps Lock key is there for a purpose, a good purpose. It’s just a matter of wise usage and common sense to turn it into one of the most vital keys in our keyboards.
