The Earth is devastated by an all out world-wide nuclear war. Only ten people survive and must hide in an underground tunner to survive and restore mother earth in the future. Problem is, the tunnel can only accomodate 9 people so one must be eliminated from the list of 10 survivors below:

34 yr-old Priest

So there you have it folks. Contrary to what I and Sir Abe believed, Kontera’s In-text ads cannot be run on the same page as Google’s AdSense. So now I have a little dilemma. I want to keep both AdSense and In-text ads running on my blog because I do earn something from both of them, but now I have to make a decision that I find a little difficult: ‘Which ad system to dump or relocate to other parts of my blog?’

In my mind played the following thoughts and scenarios that helped me arrive at a decision…

Our booming population has demanded lands be converted to agricultural use however, globalization and the rising trend of land use conversion which has been targeted for industrial, commercial, recreational and residential uses are mostly irrigated agricultural lands. This has threatened the country’s food security and has added more pressure to the ecosytem due to the added pollution and resource consumption by industrial, commercial, recreational and residential demands and activities. The end result is appalling, reduced soil quality, emergence of species resistant to these chemicals, pesticide poisoning, genetic erosion, and decimation of hundreds of indigenous rice varieties with the use of HYVs

Yup! I’ve been experiencing wierd things with Bloglines for almost a week now. It made me wonder whether my blog-friends have went on vacation all at the same time or not. Then folders show unread items, I check them out their empty. Sometimes you get the same entry you’ve read yesterday still flagged as unread.

Hope they fix this very very soon. My RSS reading rituals are about to break down completely.

This time, he has outdone himself again as he spoofs Kamikazee’s hit single ‘Narda’ with his own interpretation or version of the song entitled ‘Mamaw.’ I know the spoofed song debuted on Philippine TV last month but I still fall off my chair in laughter whenever I watch the video and hear Bitoy’s version of the song.

Kung kakulitan lang ay sa ganitong pagkakataon, taob ang Parokya, E-heads at ang Kamikazee mismo sa ginawang ito ni Bitoy. Iba talaga, asteeg!

Here is the video, again I discovered while exploring the wonderful world of youtube, below the video are the lyrics of the song. I assure you, you’d find it hard not laugh your heads off with this one.

Here in the Philippines, Diethanolamine or DEA can be found in cosmetic products and is used as sunscreen agents. Meaning, if your shampoo or any other cosmetic product is labeled “with UV protection” or something similar, it contains DEA specifically Diethanolamine methoxycinnamate (DEA methoxycinnamate).

You should also read the labels and ingredients lists of any cosmetic product or any other product for that matter, before buying them. Don’t be shy or afraid of asking questions about health risks or other related information about the product to the sales person or dealer. Better yet, write, e-mail, call or look up the manufacturer’s website for more information or to send your concerns, it is your right to be protected as consumers, after all it is your money and health we’re dealing with.

Interesting and quite scary isn’t it? Most of the shampoos we use everyday contains a substance that retards brain development in fetuses. Well, for one thing we boys are safe since we do not get pregnant but once I get married and start to plan on having kids, I’d be worried. Wouldn’t you?

I remember the advice given to me back in highschool by the school nurse. She said that daily use of shampoo should be stopped. Instead, use shampoo once every other day and when using shampoo, put some water on it before applying it on your hair to dilute a little. Too much shampoo get rids of the natural oil that our scalp produces which is good for our hair. For those who couldn’t go through a day without shampooing their hair, use a conditioner instead.

I was so immersed in my own ‘little world’ that my aunt once thought that I had lost my sanity since I was frequently talking to my self while her son, my cousin a year older than me, was all quite playing with his GameBoy (the original model). Years later we would grow up and go to school together, to our family, and my aunt’s amazement, I, who spent my childhood days playing with plastic and wooden blocks and talking to my self in a corner did better and excelled over my cousin who spent his growing up years honing his cut-throat skill of button mashing and a mastery of the GameBoy and other electronic devices like the VHS player and the SEGA console. Don’t forget though that I was the weird one. ;)
